Location
The Villa Grambella stands on a hill some 500 meters South of the National Road.
By the foot of the hill, there is a small bridge where the path to the beach underpasses the National Road.
The nearest beach is 900 meters away, it consists from sand and round pebbles. The nearest sandy beach is 1,200 meters away.

The nearest taverna, the nearest supermarket and the bus-stop are 600 meters away just behind the National Road.
There is an hourly public bus service to  Rethymnon (11 kms) as well as to Iraklion (75 kms), during the season every 30 minutes.
Iraklion airport is 81 kms away, Hania airport 74 kms. With respect to the winding character of the National Road, transfer times from and to the airports must not be underestimated.
